Kesheris the College Education Department of the Union of Reform Judaism (URJ). Kesher 's goal is to connect Jews in college with their Judaism, both on campus and in their home congregations, and to one another.
Kesher serves several different constituencies, including Reform college students, URJ Congregations and their College/Youth Committees, campus Hillel Foundations, and high school students exploring the possibilities of Jewish life on campus.

At college, with the encounter endless opportunities for getting involved in athletics, Greek life, cultural activities, and more, it is easy for the Jewish commitments of new college students to get lost in the shuffle. Attending a school with a strong Reform Jewish community will provide you with an important outlet for Jewish expression. It will keep you connected as you move through these exciting next few years, and it will also enable you to continue contributing to the growth of Reform Judaism, for young adults are essential to keeping the Movement on the cutting edge.
Not all campuses are alike.Important partnerships will be available to you while in college, with the Union for Reform Judaism and KESHER, Hillel: the Foundation for Jewish Campus Life, HUC-JIR, with local Reform congregations, and with student leaders and chaplains.

Hillelprovides opportunities for Jewish students to explore and celebrate their Jewish identity through its global network of over 500 regional centers, campus Foundations and Hillel student organizations.

Scholarships
CARRIE JACOBI Educational Foundation - Applications for college scholarship grants for the 2005-06 school year are now available. Completed applications must be received by April 1st. Grants will be awarded on the basis of academic achievement, potential, motivation and financial need.
Jewish community applicants must be:
residents of the service area of the Jewish Federation of Greater Oklahoma City
and plan to attend a bono fide educational institution.
